Skill Upgradation and Formation

With a view to provide know-how and guidance to rural artisans regarding complexity, periodical maintenance and efficient and economic use of prototype machines developed by the Institute, the Institute is organizing Skill Upgradation Programme covering about 5 trades and imparting training to about 4000 unemployed and partially employed youth-per annum. Beneficiaries are paid stipend at the rate Rs. 2500 per months. The skill up-gradation programmes of the Institute are distinct in nature due to following characteristics:

Short duration - 1 to 2 months)
Full time attendance
Nearest to the beneficiary's residence & convenient to their time
More emphasis on work experience

Criteria for Selection of Trainee

Age : 18 -45 Years - Willing, Interested and Enthusiastic person - Selection based on trade and Plan Scheme.
Education Qualification : According to trade ( if trade required reading writing knowledge than person selected accordingly)
